The Mental Health Nurse has a pivotal role in EPUT!

We have number of different roles in Bands 5, 6 and 7:

Staff Nurse
Charge Nurse
Senior Practitioner

More about the Role:

Develop your clinical leadership, while maintaining your hands-on nursing skills.

The emphasis of the role is about promoting clinical expertise and teaching.

This role is a great opportunity to develop your leadership and problem-solving skills.

The Band 6 nurse is involved in the development of the safety plans for PTS.

The Band 6 and 7 nurse engages in organised shared learning opportunities and optimises the use of the available resources

The Band 6 nurse oversees implementation and evaluation of programmes of care for our clients.

Mental Health nurse is courageous and accepts accountability.

Be the first responder to emergencies.

Brings commitment and fresh ideas, and determination to take forward our service in new and innovative ways

Act as an autonomous, registered practitioner who is legally and professional accountable for own unsupervised actions guided by our NMC code of conduct and trust polices.

Dies deputising for Ward manager in their absence.

The mental health nurse is committed to safe, effective high-quality care that will continuously improve service user experience and outcomes.
