These posts are based within a multi-disciplinary team of professionals that accept GP referrals, and have the skill and knowledge to offer expert clinical advice and personalise medication plans in real time, to keep patients well. The role requires more than undertaking medication reviews, although that will be a starting point for some patients on complex regimens. Sometimes remote advice will be required; some patients you will choose to see in person.

We're looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, self-motivated pharmacist with excellent communication skills and a clinical background to work within South East Essex integrated health services.

You will work in a multidisciplinary team and demonstrate a high level of clinical expertise and participate in delivering medicines reconciliation, medication reviews, audits, and other medicines optimisation initiatives.

You will focus on providing essential pharmacy services such as dispensing, accuracy checking and Clozapine management across Bedfordshire, Essex and Suffolk. 

You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience of influencing others.

The role is split between management working at Band 8a for 2 days and for the remaining 3 days you will be working in a clinical capacity at Band 7.

You will be responsible for leading on the development of education, training, and workforce development opportunities in relation to Physician Associates (PA) within EPUT working collaboratively across the Mid and South Essex Integrated Care System (MSE ICS).

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and dynamic with a flexible approach and has both management and clinical experience.
